When you're thinking about booking a massage, it can be tough to figure out which service option is best for you. If you're not sure where to start, feel free to drop me a message, and we can chat about your best options. Or, you can check out this guide below to help you decide.

Which of these sounds like you?

-I mainly want to relax

-I'm looking to deal with a pain issue

-I want both relaxation and pain relief

-I'm an athlete needing recovery or prep for an event

If you picked the first option, "I mainly want to relax," then I'd suggest going for the Restorative Massage option.

This service option is all about giving you a peaceful experience where you can really chill out and meditate. It uses Swedish massage techniques and often includes things like aromatherapy, hot stones, hot towels, warm eye pillows, face and scalp massages, and other relaxation methods based on what you need.

This is great for anyone dealing with stress like frequent headaches, trouble sleeping, anxiety, depression, stress, general tiredness and body aches, fibromyalgia, prenatal and postnatal discomfort, or just needing a break from a busy life.

Generally, I will treat the entire system during a Restorative Massage session; Back, Neck, Shoulders, Hips, Legs, Feet, Arms, & Hands.

If you chose the second option, "I'm looking to deal with a pain issue," then I'd recommend the Focused Neuromuscular massage option.

Neuromuscular massage focuses on using pressure and friction to tackle muscle and nerve problems. It's more of a medical approach and is ideal if you're dealing with pain in specific areas like your neck, shoulders, back, feet, or conditions like plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, or tennis elbow.

With this type of massage, I'll zero in on the problem area and work on it with precision. You can stay in athletic clothes, and we won't need much, if any, oil.

If you picked the third option, "I want both relaxation and pain relief,"

OR the fourth option, "I'm an athlete needing recovery or prep for an event,"

I'd suggest booking a Therapeutic Massage or Thai Massage session.

Therapeutic massage is a mix that addresses pain and other goals while also helping you relax. It's perfect if you like deeper, therapeutic work but also want the relaxation benefits of massage.

Personally, this is my favorite type of work.

I'll use different techniques like deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, neuromuscular, stretching, cupping, scraping, and hot and cold treatments to tailor the session to your needs.

I'll blend these with smooth movements for a balanced session that offers both relaxation and therapeutic benefits. It's a great choice if you're looking for pain relief, soft tissue improvement, or if you're an athlete or someone with an active lifestyle, recovering from an injury, or dealing with chronic muscle tension and soreness, or musculoskeletal issues like scoliosis, thoracic outlet syndrome, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, etc.

Generally, I will treat the entire system during a Therapeutic Massage session; Back, Neck, Shoulders, Hips, Legs, Feet, Arms, & Hands.

Thai Massage is quite different from a table massage. It uses ancient stretching and massage techniques to leave you feeling free and relaxed.

I'll guide you through a series of stretches and compressions using my entire body, including feet, hands, knees, and elbows.

It's like doing yoga, but without you having to use your strength—I'll move you into the poses and stretches.

This massage doesn't use oils, and you'll wear comfy athletic clothes. It's done on a thick mat instead of a table.

Thai massage is awesome for athletes looking to add mobility to their routines, prep for an event, those who love deep tissue work, or anyone wanting a good stretch.

Still not sure which option is best for you? Feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss!
